The Search Is Over

Isn't half the battle won by getting a great night's sleep? A few of us would be happy with just a good night's sleep. Some of the health problems I noticed that are caused or worsened by a poor night's sleep are stress, fatigue, insomnia, back and neck pain, and muscle aches and soreness, just to name a few. The older we get, the more susceptible we are to the frustrations of not being able to sleep comfortably.
Well, we were so tired of tossing and turning all night and waking up fatigued that we went looking for the answer to the problem of sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress. After a thorough investigation and researching many different brands of mattresses (and there are hundreds!), we finally decided on a mattress called The Ultimate by Dormia. It also came with a 25-year limited warranty that far exceeded our expectations.
Almost immediately, our sleep patterns began to change and within a few days, we noticed we weren't waking up throughout the night. In fact, some mornings I wake up in the same position I started out in the night before. The morning stiffness in my back and neck are virtually gone. From the minute I lay down at night, I feel like my body is being properly supported from top to bottom and that the mattress actually molds to every contour. Sleeping on such a luxuriously comfortable mattress has also improved my mental alertness during the day. It's hard to put my finger on it, but I also believe our new mattress is allowing us to sleep deeper and wake up more rejuvenated in the mornings.
It's only been a few short months now, but something recently happened that absolutely convinced me of the quality and superiority of our new mattress. We took a two-day road trip and ended up staying in a motel for the night. It shall remain unnamed; however, it is a reputable national chain. In any event, I tossed and turned the entire night without sleeping a wink. It was the most uncomfortable night I'd spent in months and it absolutely felt like we were sleeping on cardboard. Why the hotel/motel industry does not get a clue and pay more attention to the quality of the mattresses they expect their patrons to sleep on is beyond me, but that's a whole other subject. All I could think about all night long was that my Dormia mattress was waiting for me at home. Needless to say, I slept like a log the first night back home and every night since.
